Flo Trans recognizes the need for environmentally ethical transportation, and since 2017 Flo Trans has partnered with the Department of Transportations Smart Way program to reduce carbon emissions, and its carbon footprint on the world. Flo Trans uses paperless billing, and does not use single-use plastics within its office, while working to use other Smart Way carriers within it's brokerage. In addition Flo Trans uses a completely new fleet that is at the head of the market in terms of gas mileage.
